DAILY DOSE OF HOPE – BLOG – NAIMA LETT
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Nothing is impossible.
Perhaps you need to hear that today. I read it this morning:
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37
It’s what the angel Gabriel told Mary when she asked how she was going to give birth to God’s Son when she was a virgin. Seems pretty impossible, right?
Not only did Gabriel break down how Mary would be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit for this immaculate conception, but He also informed her that her cousin Elizabeth who was barren had also conceived a child in her old age. Yep, that’s pretty impossible too.
What do you have going on, Fam?
Does it seem impossible?
More impossible than being impregnated by the Holy Spirit and giving birth to the Son of God? More impossible than conceiving a child after you’re passed childbearing age?
The same miracle-working God who created life in those two impossible-looking wombs is our heavenly Father today. Same God.
What are you facing?
Does it seem impossible?
More impossible than a 1st-time feature filmmaker casting two 1st-time actors as leading roles working alongside not-yet-professional cast & crew to create a moving film called Beasts of the Southern Wild which could be this year’s Academy Awards ‘little engine that could’ film.
See yesterday’s blog: Oscar’s Little Engine that Could.
I don’t know if the filmmakers believe in God, but I know that same miracle-working God who’s allowing them to be phenomenally blessed is our heavenly Father. Same God.
Another translation of that verse above is “For no word from God will ever fail.” How powerful is that, Fam? No word that God has spoken will ever fail. What has He spoken in His written Word to us? What has He spoken through His preached Word? What has He spoken over our lives? Remember His Word today. It will NEVER fail.
Be encouraged, Fam.
Nothing is impossible with God.
Nothing!
Naima
PS. This video is Israel’s Houghton singing at Lakewood last year, “Nothing is Impossible”. It’s the first few minutes of the video. He goes into an extended worship session after that. Enjoy!
Does this encourage you today?
